Promote Voter Service and Advocacy The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Education Fund (LWVWIEF) promotes citizen participation and provides Wisconsin voters with nonpartisan, in-depth information. LWVWIEF works for good state government in Wisconsin. LWVWIEF is a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the tax code, and contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

The oldest social action fund in the country, CSW supports Wisconsin organizations that advocate, educate and seek progressive solutions to problems and issues in our state. Community Shares connects donors with the LWVWI Education Fund through workplace giving and cooperative fundraising. For Members: Birthday Fund Celebrate your birthday by sending a contribution to LWVWI equal to $1.00 for every year of your age. If you would rather not divulge the exact number, we encourage you to round up or send whatever amount you can afford! LWVWI will place 50% of your gift in an account designated for your local League. We will acknowledge birthday donors in Forward , the state League newsletter, unless you ask us not to. This fund is in honor of former Dane County League member and long-time State Legislative Committee Chair Meg McLane, and the award is a tribute to Meg's legacy of advocacy work through the League on behalf of all Wisconsin citizens.
