State Studies and Projects

Current Studies:

At the 60th Biennial Convention of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin, the delegates  adopted a two-year study of Election Administration. League studies expand our knowledge of the complex issues in today's world and inform both our positions and our legislative activity.

The following links provide useful information on the issues involved with Election Administration:

In addition to the formal study for the 2007-2009 biennium, the League will increase efforts to educate members and the public about health care. As changes to Wisconsin's health care system are discussed in the Legislature and implemented in our communities, the League will be a strong voice advocating for health care services that are affordable and accessible to all.

Issue Forums

Throughout the 2007-2009 biennium, local Leagues around the state will host community forums on all aspects of money in politics, including campaign financing, government ethics, competitive elections, an independent judiciary, media and citizen participation and more. Mark your calendars and check back frequently for details!

Past studies:

Past study materials are available from the state League office.
