from the listserve discussion - "The Illinois League developed the "Your Rights Under the Constitution" workshop that is part of the Liberty Circles. It was developed as part of a package that local Leagues could use to reach out to the community and is easily moderated by anyone; you don't have to be an attorney. We developed it with the ACLU and, after 9/11, revised the scenarios. The ice-breaking exercise asks people to decide which three rights they want to keep. This is very powerful; people become extremely upset when they begin to think about their choices and realize how many basic rights they can't - don't want to - part with. The rest of the package is How to Lobby Effectively, Your Local Government, and How to Run for Public Office (local positions). I have the entire package if anyone wants it.  -Jan Flapan, LWVUS Board"
